The silk-like smoothness of our fabric translates to Lyocell, it is one of the most sustainable materials of the 21st century with an award-winning close loop system that recycle and reuse water.
Apart from an eco-friendly manufacturing process, Lyocell is made from fast-growing trees that are less water demanding than cotton and uses less land area to grow on.
Only certified sustainable forestry operations provide the wood for our products. Over half of the trees were sourced from Austrian forests. The rest is sourced from neighbouring countries in Central Europe.
TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are produced by the state of the art producer Lenzing in Austria.
The wood is mostly produced by thinning timber, which is a practice used in sustainable forest management. As a result, wood that is unsuitable for high-end products like furniture finds a useful purpose in our soft and smooth beddings and towels.
